Hi, I’m Liz Garypie.
My passion for herbs and tea stemmed from a desire to recreate the vibrant and diverse food and tea culture I encountered during my years of international travel. With over a decade of experience growing culinary herbs, I maintain a perennial herb garden that fuels my husband's kitchen innovations. Seeking additional ways to integrate health and wellness into my life, I established my first tea garden in 2018. Today, I craft my own blends of fresh and dried herbal teas at home in Milford, CT and share my knowledge with others through personalized instruction, group classes & workshops and customized herbal tea events.
Beyond the garden, I leverage my 25+ years of corporate experience in the aerospace and defense industry as a career and leadership coach, business consultant, and speaker through E.G. Insights, LLC. I thrive on integrating hands-on leadership experience and systems thinking from my engineering background to empower individuals and teams to unlock their potential and expand their impact. I hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Trinity College, Hartford, am a life member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and the Board Vice President for the non-profit Milford Makes.
Hi, I’m BILL GIANNETTO.
My involvement in Crafting CreativiTea began by applying my Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) expertise to assisting my wife with ergonomic gardening modifications. Now I’m a co-instructor of our gardening ergonomics classes. In my day job, I am currently the EH&S Coordinator at Hampford Research, Inc., where I am responsible for employee health and safety, environmental and international compliance, and waste management. This role allows me to combine my engineering background, operational experience, and passion for safety and sustainability.
Prior to joining Hampford Research in 2024, I had diverse experiences across a wide range of industries, including paper manufacturing, semiconductors, and adhesives, and I led and supported multiple sustainability initiatives and process improvement projects. During the pandemic, I made a career pivot by returning to school, earning a Certificate in Brewing Science from Sacred Heart University and working at Reverie Brewing in Newtown, CT. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Syracuse University, and in my free time enjoy brewing beer, cooking, and photographing cars and the natural landscape.
